SWALLOW THE SUN Confirmed For UK's BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR

Finnish doomsters SWALLOW THE SUN are the second confirmed band for the Bloodstock Open Air festival, set to take place August 15-17, 2008 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire England. Also scheduled to appear is the Finnish folk/pagan metal band MOONSORROW.

SWALLOW THE SUN's third album, "Hope" entered the Finnish national chart at position No. 3 back in February. The follow-up to 2005's "Ghosts of Loss" was recorded at Seawolf Studios in Helsinki and was mastered at Finnvox studios with Minerva Pappi. The LP features a vocal appearance by Jonas Renkse of KATATONIA on the song "The Justice of Suffering".

SWALLOW THE SUN's video for the song "Don't Fall Asleep (Horror Pt. 2)" can be view below. Produced by Medialouhos and directed by Antti Hyyrynen, the clip was shot in November 2006.
